Why this shop?

Wobbly Horizons was born out of dream to create something special. That something special was a book.  I wanted to produce a children’s book…. the story, the cover art, the whole package from scratch!  There were some obstacles though:  I didn’t know if I could draw, and I was pretty certain I couldn’t write.  I did have a few things in my favour:  I had inspiration, a friend with a new dog and new family… a feeling, maybe somewhere deep down I could create…. and, finally, I do like a challenge!  So it turns out I couldn’t draw!  However, with books, online art courses, painting, some terrible art, but mostly lots and lots and lots of practice.…one year later, my first book existed….in reality….in my hands.  And I loved every minute of it!

 

Why sustainable?

 

I say why not.  It’s that simple.  Why wouldn’t you if you had a choice?  I did have a choice, so here we are, doing a little bit to help the world that I love to paint.
